Saturday we drove to town and after picking up our mail went down a side street where we found a double spot to park the RV. Walking around the corner we found this guy who at first I thought was Lord Camden. It wasn't. In case you can't enlarge the picture the plaque says "Erected in 1899 by the CAMDEN soldiers monument association in honor of the brave men of CAMDEN who gave their lives in defence (sp) of their country during the GREAT REBELLION 1861 - 65". That's interesting!
Around the corner we got our first good view of the harbor and the large number of old, real old, wooden sailing ships that still ply the waters, most having been restored, maybe more than once, in their life time.
This is the guy that came in the next morning with a relatively new Newmar 45' RV towing a two axle trailer carrying a beautiful SCL 550 Mercedes sedan. I'm not sure how he drove it into the site across from us. When he drove in I was at the front gate and noticed that his right side brake lights were out. The next day he was working on some problem with his air compresor and when we left this morning he told me that he was waiting for road assistance to fix a flat tire. Wow! I told him that we hope to see him in Nova Scotia.
