he's not ready for the trip. He gets a little nervous
in the RV so we bought Bach Flower Remedy for
pets to relieve the stress. A couple of drops on
some treats and he'll be all set.
Hard to believe. We're being running around like the proverbial chicken working to get everything finished - stuff at the house, picking up more stuff and even a trip to St. Johns and visiting with grand daughter, Casey, who was in town for the concert Main Beach. Our original departure date wasMarch 15th but we busted that date with some medical stuff and thought maybe March 29th. Not quite ready so our final date was Monday if we had to leave in the middle of the night.
We're finally in the RV at 2:30 with a last stop for air pressure check at the tire store. One tire was low enough that the wheel had to be taken of and the new solid air valve tightened up. That done by 4:30 the choice was to stay till Tuesday or leave now. The sun was still bright and the air was cool so we headed out with our mission to get a few miles up the road.
I know Walter Hunt and a few other Walters but never heard of Walterboro but that's how far we got by 9 when we stopped the Cracker Barrel in South Carolina. There were three other RVs in the parking lot so we felt right at home when we went in for dinner and then back home (is where we park) for lights out.
Here we be - first night out!
